A note from the artist, Deby Heramb -
With a bachelor’s degree in fine art, I have practiced the last 30 years as a professional interior designer with my business, Intra Interior Design. I have always been drawn to modern art, from the Bauhaus School in the 1920’s through the 1980’s Italian Memphis Design movement.
My art is created from a collection of paper colors and shapes, then digitally copied and printed to become a flat unified blend of the textures created by the original collage. My inspirations most often, are the colors and forms reminiscent and suggestive of Mid Twentieth Century Styles. From actual objects depicted to silhouettes and colors used, a mood of modernism stimulates my art.
